Hello!
My name is Beata H. Arnesen and I’m a native speaker and a certified teacher from the United States. I grew up on the east coast, just north of Boston, Massachusetts.
In 2002 I returned from studying in Paris, after completing my Master’s of Arts in French, and began teaching middle school and high school aged students back home in New Hampshire. Then in 2006 I left the United States once again to to move to Norway, where I began teaching English and French. I found teaching Norwegian teens to be a great experience, but after a few years of working and raising my kids in Norway, my family and I decided to move to Poland. Being of a Polish-American heritage, I speak Polish fluently and find life in southern Poland very enjoyable.
I love foreign cultures and languages, travel, and working in the field of education. I have experience
teaching English, French, Norwegian, as well as basic German. I have taught students of various age
groups, from primary school children to adults.
I’m happy to be a part of the Quaderno language team here in Mikolow, Poland!
